Rattlers Carnival Day presents: Team USA Player Bios

John Galloway

HT: 6-0 | WT: 188

Galloway is entering his fourth year as a Rattler and has posted outstanding numbers thus far in the season. The net-minder is undefeated at home, while building the second best record in the league at 5-3. He also leads the entire MLL with 116 saves through 8 games played.  Prior to this season Galloway was named a co-captain for the team as a result of his leadership on and off the field. John will be competing in his first All-Star game with Team USA and will undoubtedly continue to be one of the Rattlers most effective players as the season continues.

Week 2 vs. Boston & Week 5 vs. Florida - Coca-Cola Player of the Game

Kevin Leveille

HT: 5-10 | WT: 185

Leveille has built quite the resume leading into and during his 11 th professional season (3 rd with Rochester). The co- captain has led his team offensively and achieved two MLL records this year, all while showing no signs of slowing down. The tenacious veteran scored a game-winning, double-OT goal against Chesapeake on June 5 th that broke two records with one shot. Leveille became the all-time leading goal scorer while also tying the record for most game-winning goals in Major League Lacrosse history. Leveille now continues to add to his totals with outstanding offensive performances each week. Kevin will make his 6 th appearance at the All-Star game during a season in which he has posted numbers that well deserving of the honor. Leveille leads the team in goals with 13, and has accumulated 19 points through 7 games.

Dave Lawson

HT: 6-1 | WT: 203

Midfielder Dave Lawson has enjoyed continued success in just his second year as a pro with Rochester.  The Duke Blue Devil Alumnus has established himself as a scoring threat for the Rattlers and the League has taken notice. Lawson will play in his first All-Star game during a year that has him on pace to surpass all of his Rookie stat lines. So far this season Lawson has posted 10 goals, and has been a major factor in the Rattlers’ red hot offense.


Be sure to watch the 7 Rattlers that will be represented when Team USA takes on the MLL All-Stars from Boston tomorrow, June 26 th at 7:30pm. The game will air live on CBS Sports Network.

The All-Stars then return to action with their team Sunday June 29 th when Rochester faces off against Denver for a 1pm matinee home game. The day of the game features the first “Rattlers Carnival Day”, where an arrangement of fun activities will be available for those attending. Fans are encouraged to arrive when gates open at 12 noon and enjoy all the fun leading up to the game!
