The Rattlers continued their run into the third quarter to cut Ohio’s lead to 9-7.  Rattlers rookie M Roy Lang and Rattlers veteran A Kevin Leveille both scored unassisted goals for Rochester.

Halfway through the third quarter the Ohio Machine took control of the game.  Woodson scored the goal to open the decisive run off of an assist from M Brett Garber 7:18 into the third quarter.  Garber scored one minute later to give the Machine an 11-7 lead.  Ohio M Dan Groot scored his second goal of the game shorthanded 11:29 into the quarter, and A Connor Martin finished the quarter’s scoring with seven seconds left to extend the Ohio Machine’s lead to 13-7.
