Rattlers Rowdies Show Support In Charlotte

March 18, 2016
The Rattlers love to see fans whether they are playing at home in Rochester or on the road throughout the course of the MLL season. During the final game of the season as the Rattlers traveled to Charlotte to face the expansion Hounds, Rochester players saw a passionate group of supporters in the stands. This group was comprised of members of the Rattlers Rowdies which is a fan club that shares their love for the team across the world.

Rowdies President Tim Knab made the road trip from Rochester to Charlotte for the game on August 11th. The picture above showcases a number of the members of the Charlotte chapter of the Rowdies. We asked Knab to give a description of his time in Charlotte as well as a background on the Rowdies.

"These photos are of my family that make up the core of the Rattlers Rowdies, Carolina Chapter.  There are four generations of Rattlers fans in Carolina.  Betty Knab, my mother, her daughter, my sister Dori Ammons, her daughters Casi Gill, Chauna Gill and Chevonne Ritter and Chevonne's Son James Ritter who is in the picture. Also, pictured is Aaron Ritter, James' father and Chevonne's husband.

Most of them were born and raised in Brockport, NY and I introduced them into lacrosse through the Knighthawks and then the Rattlers when they started in 2001.

Besides, the group pictured here, there was a great contingent of Rochester Rattlers fans at the game who traveled to watch the team or have moved to Charlotte from the Rochester area.

On top of the Rattlers Rowdies who live in Carolina, the Rowdies are proud to have members from 13 states and 9 countries including military members stationed around the World.

The Rattlers Rowdies are proud to celebrate our tenth anniversary in 2012 and look forward to many more years of rooting on our Rochester Rattlers whereever they play."

The Rattlers appreciate the tremendous support from the fans during the 2012 season and look forward to another great year in 2013. For ticket information please call (585) 454-5425.
