The Rattlers were the first team to beat the Outlaws this season back on May 27 th when they won 16 to 15.

Last weekend, Denver won a battle of the top two MLL teams on Saturday, beating the Ohio Machine 13 to 11. Eric Law (Denver) and Wes Berg (Denver) each scored three goals. Goalie Jack Kelly (Brown) had a huge game making twenty two saves in net for the Outlaws.  Matt Kavanagh (Notre Dame) leads the Outlaws with twenty-one goals and fifteen assists. Law is third on the team with thirty-one points including twenty one goals and ten assists.

We talked to Goalie John Galloway regarding the big win on Sunday night and the upcoming match-up against the Denver Outlaws. Here’s what John had to say: “Sunday night was a huge win for our locker room and our coaching staff. Coach Soudan has stayed the course with this group, and his calming demeanor has allowed us all to find our groove. I think what you saw Sunday with the exception of a few injuries will be the lineup moving forward. Our offense was a constant highlight reel and our defense seemed to have very few holes. Now, our job is to string a couple of games together like that. We don’t have to wait long for our next opportunity against the #1 team in the league and defending champion Denver Outlaws. While the game is sure to be a battle, it is always fun to be on the team of hunters. Especially when no-one believes we can do it. We will be back together as a group tomorrow night preparing to execute on Thursday.”
