Week 14 Pregame Notes 

The Rochester Rattlers are back in the playoff hunt with two wins last week. Sunday, the Rattlers won over the Boston Cannons, 21 to 9. The Rattlers then beat the defending champion Denver Outlaws on Thursday, 18 to 12. The Rattlers were the first team to beat the Outlaws this season back on May 27th when they won 16 to 15.   

Jordan Wolf scored five goals and had one assist in the win over the Cannons. Jordan MacIntosh scored four goals in the both wins. John Ranagan scored four goals in the win over Denver. Conor Gately (Marquette) stepped in for Jordan Wolf on Saturday against the Outlaws. He scored two goals and one assist.

Last weekend, The Blaze played the Bayhawks last weekend and lost, 13 - 12. Brian Sherlock led the Blaze with three goals. Goalie Adam Ghitelman (Virginia) had fourteen saves in net for the Blaze. 

2017 Season So Far

Currently at 6 – 6, the Rattlers won two huge games against the Boston Cannons on Sunday afternoon to get back in the playoff hunt and then beat the Denver Outlaws on Thursday, 18 to 12. The Rattlers look to continue to build that momentum with a win over the Blaze before playing their finale at Capelli Sport Stadium against the Ohio Machine. The Blaze are out of the playoff hunt after their loss to the Chesapeake Bayhawks on Saturday.  

What to Look Out For

New faces on the Rattlers include: Eric Fannell (Attack / Midfield / Ohio State), Zed Williams (Attack / Midfield / Virginia), Ryan McNamara (Attack / Midfield / Marquette) and Jack Curran (Villanova).
