Johns Hopkins graduate and Rochester Rattlers standout rookie midfielder John Ranagan has been selected to play in the 2013 MLL All-Star Game presented by Moe's Southwest Grill.
In only his first season in the MLL, Ranagan will be one of only three rookies to play in this year’s All-Star Game, joining New York attackman Rob Pannell and Charlotte attackman Mike Sawyer to represent the 2013 class.
Ranagan has quickly become a young star for the Rattlers this year, establishing himself as one of Rochester’s top offensive threats. Through six games this season, Ranagan is fifth on the team in points after scoring a total of 12 goals, also making him tied for second on the team in that category. After his most recent score against Hamilton on Sunday, Ranagan is currently on a five game point streak, scoring at least one goal in his last five outings, and has even scored three hat tricks in that span.
Ranagan will join fellow Rochester All-Stars Matt Striebel, Jordan MacIntosh, Ned Crotty, and Mike Manley this weekend in this year’s All-Star Game presented by Moe’s Southwest Grill. Be sure to check up on all five Rattlers All-Stars on Saturday, July 13 at American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte, N.C, at 7 PM on ESPN2.
