Rochester native Jason LaShomb who played his high school career at Aquinas, where he was an Academic All-American.
Continuing in All-American trend, LaShomb continued to play lacrosse in college at Mercyhurst, where he was a three-time All-American. In 2008, along with being named such, he also recieved the Division II Goalie of the Year.
Apart from playing professional lacrosse, LaShomb also serves as an assistant coach for Division III school Nazareth College.

2008: First Team All-American, won Kelly Award for Division II Goalie of the Year.
East Coast Conference First Team All-Conference...Inside Lacrosse Preseason First Team All-American, Preseason All-Conference and Preseason "Top 10 Players To Watch"...Named East Coast Conference Goalkeeper of the Week twice...Started all 13 games in goal with a record of 9-4...Had a 6.52 goals against average and a .601 save percentage...Led the ECC in goals against average and ranked second in save percentage...Made a career-high 17 saves and allowed just one goal as the Lakers upset No. 4 C.W. Post 8-1. Named Division II Nike/Inside Lacrosse Player of the Week and ECC Goalkeeper of the Week for the performance... Had at least 10 saves in six games...Led team with 40 ground balls.
2007: USILA Second Team All-American, East Coast Conference First Team All-Conference, Started all 15 games in goal for Lakers with a record of 13-2… Had 6.74 goals against average (second best single season mark in program history) and .613 save percentage…Had at least 10 saves in nine games…Career high 16 saves in semifinal vs. NYIT…Third on team with 37 ground balls…Named to 2006-07 Deans List.
2006: Played in seven games, started one. Recorded 11 saves and a .733 save percentage…Tallied three ground balls.
