Ryan Clarke is from Manhassett, New York, and was a standout midfielder for the Division III Salisbury Sea Gulls. At Salisbury, Ryan has been one of the top midfielders in the nation, being named a First Team All-American in 2012, and being named to the 2013 Tewaaraton Award Watch List. Shortly into the 2013 season, Ryan ruptured his spleen, and was out for the remainder of the season. Ryan was picked 20th overall in the 2013 MLL Collegiate Draft by Rochester.
SALISBURY: 2012: Ryan was named All-CAC First Team, and was a USILA First-Team All-American. Ryan played in 23 games, registering 35 goals and 29 assists for 64 points. Also picked up 17 ground balls. 2011: Played in 22 games, scoring 10 goals and dishing out 12 assists. Also tallied 30 ground balls. 2009: Played in 8 games, registering two points on one goal and one assist. |
