Midfielder Matt Casey has seen the expansion of two teams thus far in his Major League Lacrosse career. He was initially drafted in 2007 by the Los Angeles Riptide and played for the Ohio Machine in 2012. He helped the Riptide win the Western Conference Championship in 2007 with a total of 14 goals, three assists and 44 groundballs. In the 14 games he played with the Machine, he netted 11 goals (one of which was a two-point), and had two assists for a total of 13 points.
He has also played for the Boston Cannons and the Chesapeake Bayhawks. While a Cannon, Casey notched 15 goals and eight assists in 27 games.
