Cahill had a breakout season in 2011 when he scored 16 goals as a middie with the Rochester Rattlers. He is a talented player with a strong shot and the ability to score. Cahill was named to the Major League Lacrosse All-Star Game for the first time in 2011. He was drafted ninth overall in the 2010 MLL Draft by the Chicago Machine.

Hamilton...had four shots on goal, one goal and one assist on 6/18 v. Boston...had one goal off of two shots 6/10 v. Hamilton...had a season high four goals including a season high two power play goals, a season high six shots on goal, two ground balls, and a season high four points on 5/21 v. Long Island...had one goal and four shots on goal on 5/14 at Chesapeake

University of Delaware
Cahill was one of the top midfielders in not only the Colonial Athletic Association but the nation. He was named a third team USILA All-American as a senior when he was the team’s top scoring threat from the midfield spot with 34 goals and 3 assists for 37 points. He was also named to the All-CAA team three times. He scored 92 goals with 17 assists for 109 points in 64 career games. He was a two-time team captain of the Blue Hens.
