Webster, New York native Grant Catalino made history when he became the fifth player to score nine goals in one game on June 24, 2011 in Sahlen's Stadium against the Hamilton Nationals. Catalino went on to lead the Rattlers in two-point goals and power play goals during his rookie campaign in Major League Lacrosse. Catalino also plays box lacrosse for the Rochester Knighthawks (NLL).

2011: Scored 17 (4 2ptG) goals and added two assists for 23 points in only eight games as a rookie...he still finished seventeenth in goals and twenty-first in points in spite of his abbreviated season...he led MLL in power play goals and finished third in two-point goals...Catalino was twice named the Cascade MLL Rookie of the Week (Week 6, Week 9)...had at least one goal in each of his last five games...had two goals, including one power play goal, and four shots on goal on 8/13 in Boston...had one goal off of a power play off of four shots on goal and scooped one ground ball on 8/6 v. Chesapeake...posted a two-point power pay marker off of two shots and collected one ground ball on 7/28 at Long Island...scored a hat trick with two two-point goals and two power play goals, added one assist, took three shots on goal, and scooped one ground ball on 7/23 v. Denver...scored a power play goal off of three shots and collected one ground ball on 7/16 at Denver...put two shots on goal, collected one ground ball and logged 0:30 in PIM on 6/26 in Hamilton...scored an MLL record tying nine goals and added one assist on eleven shots on goal, collected three ground balls, and converted one two-point goal and one power play goal on 6/24 v. Hamilton...had four shots on goal and one assist in his MLL debut on 6/18 v. Boston.

University of Maryland
Grant Catalino was a three-time All-American at Maryland where he compiled a 45-22 record and led the Terps to their first ACC Championship since 2005 and their first NCAA title game since 1998. Catalino finished his career tenth in Maryland Men’s lacrosse history in points (185) and seventh in goals (119). He scored 4 goals in the ACC tournament and recorded 7 goals and 3 assists in Maryland’s Cinderella run to the NCAA finals. In 2007,Catalino was named the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle All-Greater Rochester Player of the Year after leading Webster Schroeder (Rochester, NY) to a 19-1 record with 65 goals and 35 assists for 100 points .
