Joel White had a distinguished collegiate career for the Syracuse Univeristy Orange before moving down I-90 to Rochester to play for the Rattlers.  White was a three time All-American and a two time National Champion with the powerhouse Orange Men's Lacrosse Team.  He also became the first defensive specialist to win the Lt. Donald C. MacLaughlin, Jr. award as the nation’s top midfielder.  White played in ten Major League Lacrosse games and finished second in the league in ground balls with 71.

2013: In 13 games last season White tailed 4 goals and 6 assists. He also picked up 63 ground balls for the Rattlers.

2012: Played in 11 games with the Rattlers, scoring four goals and adding seven assists for 11 points. Also picked up 59 ground balls. 

2011: Joel White finished the season second in Major League Lacrosse in ground balls with 71...White won Coach Soudan's Award at the end of the 2011 season ...He had double digit ground balls in three games and five or more ground balls in six games...White scored three goals which was third best among MLL defensemen...White collected five ground balls and took two PIM in the season finale at Boston (8/13)...took two shots, scored one goal, scooped four ground balls, and logged 1:30 PIM in home finale v. Chesapeake (8/6)...scooped four ground balls at Long Island (7/28)...collected seven ground balls in a win v. Denver (7/23)...scooped eight ground balls in a win at Denver (7/16)...scored one goal off of three shots, logged 1:00 PIM, and scooped four ground balls at Chesapeake (7/2)...coolected four ground balls at Hamilton (6/25)...scooped a career high thirteen ground balls and took one shot v. Hamilton (6/24)...scored his first MLL goal off of two shots and collected eleven ground balls v. Boston (6/18)...collected eleven ground balls, took one shot and logged 1:00 PIM in his MLL debut v. Syracuse University

Joel White was a three time All-American defensive midfielder for the Syracuse University Orange.  He was a first team USILA All-American and Tewaaraton Trophy finalist after his junior year when he collected 78 ground balls and caused 31 turnovers while scoring 6 goals and adding 4 assists for 10 points.  White became the first defensive specialist to win the Lt. Donald C. MacLaughlin, Jr. award as the nation’s top midfielder.  As a senior White scooped 79 ground balls and caused 30 turn overs while adding 4 goals and 2 assists for 6 points.  He was again recognized as a USILA First Team All-American and Tewaaraton Trophy finalist.  White won two national championships with the Orange, and was an integral part of a defense that posted a goals-against average under 8.00 each of his four seasons on campus.  He finished his career at Syracuse with 18 goals and 10 assists for 28 points while collecting 283 ground balls.  In 2009 Joel White was a member of a gold medal winning Team USA at the International Lacrosse Federation U19 World Championships.
