(Rochester, NY) – The Rochester Rattlers will be holding an open tryout for eligible players currently in the Major League Lacrosse Player Pool. Players who have a successful tryout will be claimed from the MLL Player Pool by the team and invited to the Rattlers training camp.
“Right now we’re trying to round out our roster as we are heading into training camp.” Rochester Rattlers Assistant General Manager Nathan Snyder said. “An open tryout gives all of these players currently in the player pool the opportunity to play in front of our coaching staff, show us what they can do, and potentially secure a professional contract.”
The tryout will take place in front of the Rochester Rattlers professional coaching staff, comprised of Head Coach Tim Soudan, Assistant Coaches Jacques Montes and Bill Warder, and Rattlers owner/GM Rob Clark. A player’s participation in the Rattlers tryout is one of the best ways to ensure that a player’s complete lacrosse resume and professional evaluation is completed in front of the key decision makers in the Rochester Rattlers organization.
The cost of participating in the Rochester Rattlers tryout will be $75 and will be held at the Rattlers home field at Sahlens Stadium. To register, complete an official application and submit it, along with the non-refundable registration fee, to the Rochester Rattlers front office. Questions should be directed to Rochester Rattlers Assistant General Manager Nathan Snyder via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
