BOSTON, MA (Monday, June 16 2014) Major League Lacrosse, the premier professional outdoor lacrosse league, announced Week 7’s Cascade Rookie of the Week today. Rookie Attackman Jordan Wolf proved worthy of his #2 overall pick in the 2014 Collegiate Draft, contributing in a big way to the Rochester Rattlers’ total offensive output despite their loss to the Ohio Machine 18-13 on Saturday night.
Wolf’s MLL pro debut went off without a hitch, as the rookie put away four goals of his own and assisted another, making the transition from college to the pro’s seem easy as he led his team in points in the game. Although it was a disappointing loss for the Rattlers, Wolf was able to walk away with an optimistic outlook, as he also saw time on special teams and scored one of his four goals on the power play.
You can next see Wolf and the Rattlers on CBS Sports Network as they take on the Florida Launch Friday, June 20 at 7:30 p.m. (ET) in Boca Raton. Jordan will make his home debut at Sahlen’s Stadium in Downtown Rochester on Sunday, June 29
that 1:00 pm. Don’t forget to catch all the MLL All-Star action next Thursday, June 26 at 7:30 p.m. when Team MLL faces off against Team USA at Historic Harvard Stadium.
