The Rochester Rattlers have added Division II collegiate superstar Greg Rogowski and 2011 Rochester Rattler Tim DeBois from the player pool. Rogowski was a USILA All-American with Merrimack while DeBlois was a standout at Cornell University. DeBlois appeared in six games for the Rattlers in 2011.
Greg Rogowski was the first player in Merrimack school history to be named a four-time All-American. He scored fifty-four goals (fourth nationally) and thirty assists for eighty-four points (first nationally) his senior season. Rogowski finished his career with 213 goals (third in NCAA Division II history) and 313 points (fourth all-time). He earned All-Conference honors four times and was named the Northeast-10 Player of the Year twice. Rogowski is a native of Cohoes, New York.
Tim DeBlois played six games in defense for the Rochester Rattlers in 2011. He scooped five ground balls. He was a third team Al-American defensemen in 2004 as well as a unanimous selection to the All-Ivy League First Team at Cornell University. DeBlois was a four-year starter and a member of Cornell’s All-Decade Team. He led the Big Red to a record of 36-19 and a share of the Ivy League Championship his final two seasons.
The Rochester Rattlers released Tom Zummo (M). Zummo was the Rattlers twelfth round (91
st overall) selection in the MLL Supplemental Draft last week.
