In his first home game, rookie midfielder Dave Lawson recorded five points on two goals and three assists, and veteran attackman Kevin Leveille also picked up five points on the night with three goals and two assists, earning him Warrior Offensive Player of the Week honors.

Leading Hamilton is midfielder Kevin Crowley, who is tied for second in the league with 36 points. All-Star defenseman Mike Manley and the rest of the Rattlers defense will need to shut down Crowley and Hamilton’s potent offense to get back to the .500 mark.

Midfielder Matt Striebel enters Sunday currently in the league lead with five two-point goals after notching his fifth of the season against New York last Sunday, and looks for a sixth against Hamilton. Rookie Ranagan will look to continue his scoring streak this weekend after recording at least one goal in his last four games, and scoring 11 times in that span. Sunday will also be the last time Striebel, Manley, Jordan MacIntosh, and Ned Crotty will take the field before playing in the 2013 All-Star Game presented by Moe’s Southwest Grill on July 13 th.

With a win on Sunday, the Rattlers will earn their fifth win on the season, and move to a 5-5 overall record. Rochester currently sits in a three-way tie for fourth place in the league. With the 2013 MLL playoffs approaching, a victory against Hamilton will move Rochester one game closer to the fourth and final playoff spot.
