Hempstead, NY (April 27, 2014)  The Rochester Rattlers opened their 2014 season on the road against the New York Lizards at James M. This marks the first time NY has pulled out the win over Rochester since 2011.  Justin Turri and Dan Hardy both had huge games for the gold and black.  Turri notched a hat trick and 2 assists with one tally being a 2-pointer. Hardy made a statement by hammering in 4 total goals to lead the team in the opener.  Off the NY bench Rob Pannell lead the team with 6 total goals, while Max Seibald and Albert Maione each had hat tricks for the Lizards.
