Week 2 MLL Broadcast and Web Schedule

March 17, 2016

Major League Lacrosse Week 2 Television and Web Schedule

Every Major League Lacrosse game in 2010 is available on television and on the web.  Week 2 features the first live game of the season on ESPN2 and two games on syndicated television.

Here is this weeks broadcast schedule.

Chesapeake Bayhawks at Toronto Nationals

Saturday, May 22 at 2 p.m.

The Toronto Nationals hope to secure their first win this season when they take on the Chesapeake Bayhawks at Lamport Stadium in Toronto. This is the season’s first live ESPN2 telecast. For the Bayhawks’, MLL Defensive Player of the Week, Alex Smith looks to dominate the face-offs while teammate and week one top scorer, Peet Poillon, will look to crack the Nationals defense.

The Nationals hope to defend their MLL Champion title with their first win of the 2010 season.   John Grant Jr. leads the Nationals’ attack that will need to score more than nine goals this week if they hope to get a win.

Long Island Lizards at Denver Outlaws

Saturday, May 22 at 7 p.m.

The Long Island Lizards and the Denver Outlaws will battle it out to try to win their first games of the season.

Outlaws General Manager and Head Coach Brian Reese has been suspended for this weekend’s game after being ejected last week for making contact and arguing with the referees.

The Lizards managed only 8 goals in their week one loss to the Bayhawks.  Matt Danowski, Zach Greer and Stephen Berger will look to improve on that performance.

Both of the meetings between these two teams last season were physical contests.  The teams saw seven unsportsmanlike penalties and 21 total penalty minutes in two games last season.
